People
The church is not a building or an institution…the church is people.
The church is called the body of Christ. Jesus is the Head (Col 1:18) and the millions of believers throughout the world are members of the body (1 Cor 12:13). As a member of Christ’s body, we are by default members of all other believers. However, the ability to relate to and interact with other members of the body of Christ is best carried out in local gatherings in a city (1 Cor 1:2) or a house (Col 4:15). It is in the local expression of the church where relationships are built, and where the blessings and responsibilities of membership can be experienced and carried out. (Heb 10:24-25)
As Members of Christ’s Body:
- We have a unique function to serve others (Rom 12:4-8)
- We have gifts given by the Lord to minister to one another (1 Cor 12:27-28)
- We are called to purity (1 Cor 6:15)
- We are to have concern for one another (1 Cor 12:24-27)
- We are to speak truthfully to each other (Eph 4:25)
- We are to teach and admonish each other (Col 3:15-16)
Get Connected
Alliance Christian Center is one local expression of the body of Christ. We meet as a congregation on Sundays, and in smaller groups and studies in homes throughout the week. The relationships that are forming are being used by the Lord to build us up into His body. We would love to get to know you so you can participate with us.
