Our Story
In 1978 the LORD led a number of families to relocate to Alliance, Ohio to plant this church. We are grateful for the many people who have participated in the life of the church through the years. We believe that it is Jesus who brought our lives together (Psa 37:23). We have shared love and forgiveness, prayer and counsel, and life’s experiences. We found a way into each others’ hearts, and left lasting impressions.
Our Story Is Made Up of Many Individual Stories
Our story is really the combined stories of the scores of people who have been part of our church through the years. The church is, after all, the people. If you could hear each person’s story you would find that ACC is made up of ordinary people who experience joy and sorrow, happiness and pain, success and failure. You would find unique stories, diverse backgrounds and experiences, but each would be a testimony to the amazing work of the Lord in the lives of people.
Our Story Continues to Be Written Today
We thank the Lord for our history and vision to guide our future…but know that our collective story continues to be written day by day as the LORD continues His work in us and through us for His glory. He weaves our lives and histories together like multi-colored threads of a tapestry into a design of His intent. (Phil 2:13) We hope you can experience some of our story through these web pages, and ultimately we hope you will be able to connect with us in some way to help to write the rest of the story.
