Get To Know Us
Alliance Christian Center is a local church – a community of people on a journey together, learning what it means to be committed followers of Jesus Christ, and seeking to build our lives upon the foundation of His word.
Our Core Values
The core values of an organization are the foundation on which we perform our work and conduct ourselves. In an ever changing world , core values are constant. We have derived four core values from the scripture; two from the “The Great Commandment” and two from “The Great Commission”. These values describe our relationship to the Lord and to one another as well as the focus of our work in the world.
- The Great Commandment (Matt 22:36-40 NIV)
- A Growing Relationship with Jesus Christ (John15:5)
- A Growing Relationship with others (John 13:34-35)
- The Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20 NIV)
- A Commitment to Evangelism (2 Cor 5:20)
- A Commitment to Discipleship (Col 1:28-29)
Life with a Purpose
Our church believes every life has a purpose and that walking with Christ is a constant adventure of discovering and living out that purpose for which we were created. The work assigned to church leaders is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry (Eph 4:11-13), and in its simplest terms, this has to do with helping people recognize their gifts and calling, and encouraging the use of those gifts to minister to the needs of others.
- We believe that God has created us (Ps 139:13)
- Has a unique purpose and calling for our lives – even from birth (Jer1:5)
- Has placed us on the earth in a particular place and at a particular time (Acts 17:26-27 NIV)
- He has good works, planned in advance, for us to do (Eph 2:10)
When Jesus called His disciples…He simply said, “Follow Me”. If we can truly embrace these simple words, then Christ will bring radical change to our lives as well as to the focus of our work as a church; then our families, our communities, our nation and our world will never be the same. Our lives will be filled with a sense of excitement and anticipation, knowing that our Lord is still active in the world, still working in the lives of people and still answering prayer.
