Roots
Alliance Christian Center has its roots in Abbott Loop Christian Center , a church in Anchorage Alaska. Abbott Loop experienced tremendous growth near the tail end of the Jesus People Movement of the late ’60′s and early ’70′s. Around this time, the pastor of the church, Dick Benjamin, was ordained as an apostle (Eph 4:11-13), and began the work of raising up men into ministry and sending out teams of people to plant new churches, similar to what we read in (Acts 13:1-4).

Church Planting
One team was sent from Anchorage to Colorado Springs in 1975. All of the founding members of Alliance Christian Center were either part of the Colorado church planting team, or were saved and became members of that church. By 1978 a new church planting team was raised up in Colorado Springs and was sent from there to establish the Alliance Christian Center.

Future Vision
Our spiritual “DNA” includes the expansion of the church through evangelism, discipleship, raising up men into ministry and helping to establish new churches where the process can begin all over again. Our vision is to continue that process going forward.
